Sydney, Australia – 2 August 2024 – Xpower AI has entered into a research collaboration with the University of Technology Sydney (UTS) to explore the next generation of AI-powered digital twin technologies under the Digital Twin for 6G Initiative.
The project will pioneer the use of digital twins to simulate, predict, and optimise wireless network performance. By combining UTS’s research expertise with Xpower AI’s applied technology capabilities, the initiative will develop an AI-driven digital twin model designed to enhance system efficiency, scalability, and reliability.
This technology has wide-ranging applications across industries, from port logistics and smart cities to travel ecosystems and digital farming. From managing large-scale connectivity, to streamlining supply chains to simulating crop and field growth, the same core capability enables smarter, more resilient, and sustainable systems.
Kyle Wang, Head of Tech at Xpower AI, commented:
“Our collaboration with UTS demonstrates the transformative potential of digital twin technology. While the immediate research is focused on 6G, the outcomes are equally relevant to ports, tourism, and agriculture—where digital twins can help create more efficient, resilient, and sustainable ecosystems. As a startup, Xpower AI is deeply committed to R&D, staying true to our mission of turning AI breakthroughs into real-world impact.”
